Meetings Are Important

Attending meetings to learn more about alcoholism and how to deal with its effects is an important tool in our recovery process. It can be difficult going for the first time, but you will be welcomed by other members who remember what their first time was like. They will make you feel welcome! Many different meeting formats exist, each with its own flavor. Some are directed at parents of alcoholics, some at teenage children, some at adult children, some at spouses, other relatives and friends. You will hear members share how attendance has helped them more fully understand their alcoholic relative, and you will learn how to enjoy a full and happy life, regardless of whether the alcoholic is still drinking.

Our schedule offers a wide variety of meeting times and locations. Click on a day of the week to find a meeting close to you. The list contains meetings (both Al-Anon and Alateen) in Delaware, as well as Harford and Cecil Counties in Maryland.
